CATS (Central Asian Tourism Service), a pioneer tour operator in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian Republics, is a joint venture company. It was established in 1994, with a corporate headquarter in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The founder has 35 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. He is supported by competent, dedicated, and experienced staff in the art and science of tourism. The hallmark of the Company is ‘unparalleled, state-of-the-art tourism service in the region’.
After the collapse of the USSR, the region opened to visitors, but tourism faced immense difficulties in the absence of tourism infrastructure. The Ministry of Tourism and CATS played a pivotal role in launching tourism and CATS is privileged to be the leading private company in the travel industry. It is the first IATA accredited agency in Uzbekistan. Besides, it is a member of APTA (Association of Private Tourism Agencies), JATA, PATA, and Silk Road Association.
