Keeping the family tree for the past 1400 years which showed that each his generation migrates to a new place for business and religious preaching . He was born near Lahore, the most historical city of sub-continent, had studied medicine but changed his profession and joined travel and tourism industry in 1980. After serving in National Airline for a few years, he joined Travel Waljis, the pioneer of tourism industry. In 1993, came to Uzbekistan and established the first private professional tour company. The founder has a vast experience in tourism industry and had traveled to many countries for marketing and participated in numerous international tourism exhibitions. Under his professional management, CATS is one of the leading tour operators of the country.
Marina Bliznyukova has been part of CATS Ltd (Central Asian Tourism Service) team for nearly 19 years. Having started from a travel agent she fell in love with travel industry and grown into Director Sales and the shareholder of the company. She has a vast experience in tourism and widely traveled around the world. Besides the business negotiations and marketing tours she had attended various international Tourism and Trade fares. She has successfully conducted, negotiated and signed contracts with a big number of tour Operators in many countries. Her favorite city in Uzbekistan is Bukhara, full with historic monuments dating to different periods, lovely tea houses, inviting trade domes, nice private hotels and very friendly, welcoming people.
Golib was born in Yangiyul near Tashkent. He was educated at the Foreign Languages Faculty, Lyceum “Halkobod” followed by the University of World Languages where he obtained a Bachelors’ degree from the Business Management Faculty. He has since studied additional courses in computing, management, guiding, business psychology and international relations. He started his career as an English teacher in Tashkent before joining the CATS. Over the last 13 years Golib has worked as a guide, as well as in various management positions. He has attended various tourism fairs in other countries and has experienced in all aspects of travel Organization, coordination and management in Uzbekistan. Golib is fluent in Russian and English alongside his native Uzbek.
Iskandar born in Tashkent, has a double degree from Tashkent State University of Technology. His study was in navigation and aviation engineering field where he achieved academic excellence. He started his career at CATS as an Assistent Manager of Tourism in 2017. He has been providing technical assistance for tour guides to deliver messages through radio program. Currently, he is working as Sales Manager and responsible for the correspondence with foreign tour operators. He is fluent in Russian and English. He is passionate about learning foreign languages and now learning Japanese.
Gulya is a Kazakh national, born in Tashkent. Gulya studied in the Faculty of English at the Uzbek State University of World Languages where she gained a Bachelors’ Degree. Since graduating she has worked for CATS performing a variety of roles, including most recently as a Tourism Manager. Gulya is fluent in Uzbek and Russian and has good English skills. She is married, adores her small lovely son; her passion outside of work is music.
Gulya is an Uzbek national, born in Samarkand. After graduating from the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Samarkand State University he became an English speaking guide. Gulya has spent 35 years devoted to supporting tourism in Uzbekistan: as a guide, as a tour Operator and working overseas generating interest in visiting the country. She has honor to be guide of Russian President Mr. Putin while his visit to Bukhara & Hillary Clinton in October of 2011. She speaks Uzbek, English, Persian and Russian.
Lemara was born in Yangiyul. After acquiring her college education at Law Faculty, started to work in fabrics manufacturing company where she worked for 10 years. She has been working as an assistant of Cheaf Accountant since 2017. Lemara is of of the most active members of CATS Team. She has excellent communication and problem solving skills. She likes travelling and enjoys reading books about culture in her free time. She speaks Uzbek, English and Russian.
Bobur is an Uzbek national, based in Tashkent. Bobur has worked as an English speaking tour guide organizing and leading tourist groups across Uzbekistan since 2001. Prior to his work as a tour guide, He was a teacher of English at both the Uzbek State World Languages University and the Fine Arts Lyceum. Bobur speaks Uzbek, English, Russian and Turkish. His hobbies include cooking, studying history and science and practicing Taekwondo.
Barno was born in Tashkent. At first stage of her career, she worked as a junior teacher at kindergarten. Later on she was accepted to the School of High Education, Jizzakh State University. After graduating Barno started to teach Russian in primary school. After 5 years of work, she was called to Tashkent City Tax Inspection to work in Human Resource Department where she successfully worked for 10 years. Then she worked for 6 years as the Head of Laboratory in Military Department of State Tax Academy before joining CATS in 2010. Because of her rich experience, she was appointed as Event Manager of the company. Her impeccable organizational skills helped to improve our service quality.
Kamal is a young, smart and polite man, born in Tashkent. He graduated from the Uzbek State World Languages University with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of English. After a specific course in Uzbek Tourism, Kamal graduated in 2003 and has worked as a tour guide and interpreter for the past 11 years. Kamal is fluent in Uzbek, English and Russian. He enjoys reading, trekking and photography.
Samarkand was born in Samarkand. He graduated from the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of English & his second language was Italian. After having special education in Tourism field he was so keen in learning Italian that now his Italian is much better than native Uzbek language. He has been working as a guide since 2006 and our Italian tourists adore him.
