Transfer to Tashkent International Airport for departure flight. Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast city tour of Samarkand. Visit Imam Al Bukhari mausoleum and pilgrimage place (30 km from city). After visit return to Samarkand for visit Hazrati Hizr mosque and Saint Daniel mausoleum. Take evening train “Afrosiyob” (1700-1910). On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight. Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast visit Ulugbek Observatory, Afrosiab Museum, Shakhi Zinda necropolis. Also visit Silk paper making workshop in Koni Ghil village. Overnight at Hotel

Take morning train to Samarkand. Upon arrival visit Guri Emir mausoleum, Reghistan Square (Ulugbek Madrasah, Sher Dor Madrasah and Tilla Kari Madrasah), Bibi Khanym mosque, Siyab bazaar (closed on Mon). Overnight at Hotel. Meals: Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast continue city tour of Bukhara. Visit Chor Minor mosque, Sitorai Mokhi Khosa, the summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara, Chor Bakr and Naqshbandi complex.

After breakfast continue city tour of Bukhara. Visit Ulugbeg and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Trade Domes, ancient Silk Market, Magokki Attori mosque and Labi Hauz complex. Enjoy visit local chaikhana near Lyabi Hauz Pool to have a cup of tea/ coffee with some Uzbek bread & sweets or fruits. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast transfer to Urgench airport for morning flight to Bukhara. Upon arrival visit Visit Ark fortress, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Ismail Samani mausoleum, Chashmai Ayub, Poi Kalyan complex with Kalyan mosque and Miri Arab madrassah. Visit a house of Suzane making family and have tea there. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast at Hotel.

 KHIVA-BUKHARA(480 km, 8-9 hrs)

Early drive to Bukhara along the Kyzylkum desert. Photo stop at Amudaryo river bank. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Meals: Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast proceed for full day city tour of historical town of Khiva. Visit Madrassah Allakuli Khan, Madrasah Muhammad Amin Khan, Kunya Ark, Kelte Minar, akhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Islam Khoja Minaret and Madrasah, Madrasah Muhammad Rahimkhan, Juma Masjid, Tash Hovli Palace. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast at Hotel

After breakfast drive back to Tashkent. Upon arrival visit Navoi theatre square, Amir Temur Square & some metro stations with its nice decoration. Then transfer to domestic airport & take evening flight to Urgench. Upon arrival transfer to Khiva. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast drive to Andijan and visit one of the most interesting bazaars of Uzbekistan. Then visit Juma Mosque and Babur’s Mausoleum and Garden. Drive to Kuva and visit ruins of old Kuva. After drive to Margilan and visit Silk factory, then visit ceramist workshop in Rishtan. Return to Ferghana for overnight at hotel. Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast drive to Ferghana via Kokand, one of the ancient cities of Uzbekistan located in the western part of Ferghana valley. Kokand was the capital of Kokand Khanate from 1709-1876, the territory of which included big part of present Uzbekistan, part of Southern Kazakhstan, Kyrghyzstan, Tadjikistan and Southern China. Kokand considered being the second religious center after Bukhara in Central Asia: there were 35 madrasahs and hundreds of mosques in Kokand city which were mainly built during the reign of Khudoyar Khan. In Kokand visit famous Khudoyar Khan’s Palace (closed Monday), Juma Mosque and Dahmai Shahon (Grave of Kings), Modarik Khan Mausoleum. Continue drive to Ferghana. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast at Hotel.

Welcome reception on arrival at Tashkent International Airport, our guide will meet, assist and transfer to hotel. (previous night is NOT included, check-in 13:00). Afternoon, visit Old city: Khastimom complex (Barak Khan madrasah, Tillya Sheikh mosque, Kaffal Shashiy Mausoleum and Holy Koran), Kukaldash Medrassah, Chorsu bazaar & Applied Art Museum.

Gulya was born in Tashkent. Gulya studied in the Faculty of English at the Uzbek State University of World Languages where she gained a Bachelors’ Degree. Since graduating she has worked for CATS performing a variety of roles, including most recently as a Tourism Manager. Gulya is fluent in Uzbek and Russian and has good English skills. She is married, adores her small lovely son; her passion outside of work is music.
