Visit the sacred Khast Imam Complex, home to some of the oldest Islamic manuscripts in the world, and immerse yourself in daily life at the lively Chorsu Bazaar. Admire the historic Kukaldosh Madrassah, then ride Tashkent’s beautifully designed metro stations — an underground art gallery in itself. End the day with traditional tea in the garden of Akbar Rahimov, a master ceramic artist from a renowned hereditary family.
After breakfast, drive towards the Nuratau Mountains to the remote Ukhum Village. Upon arrival, settle into a family homestay and enjoy a home-cooked lunch with your hosts.
In the afternoon, stroll through the village, meet local residents, learn about traditional rural life, customs, and culture, and observe daily activities — including village animals and farming life. A genuine introduction to mountain hospitality.
Today is dedicated to nature and ancient history. After breakfast, begin a scenic hike (approx. 13 km round trip) along a mountain stream, passing through the village and lush landscapes. Reach 2,500-year-old rock engravings, silent witnesses of ancient civilizations. Enjoy a picnic near a natural spring before returning to the village. Late afternoon is free for rest. In the evening, you are welcome to join the family in preparing dinner and learning local recipes.
After breakfast, depart for the legendary city of Samarkand (250 km, 4 Hours). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and begin sightseeing. Visit the majestic Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the resting place of Amir Temur, followed by the iconic Registan Square, one of the most breathtaking architectural ensembles in the world.
A full day exploring Samarkand’s treasures. Visit the grand Bibi-Khanym Mosque, wander through the bustling Siyab Bazaar, and discover the scientific legacy at Ulugbek Observatory. Continue to the sacred Shakhi Zinda Necropolis, then explore the Afrosiyob Museum and ancient ruins, revealing the city’s pre-Islamic past.
After an early breakfast, drive to Langar Ata Village in the Hissar Mountains. Walk through the village, observe daily life, and visit the Langar Ata Mausoleum and Mosque.
After lunch, enjoy gentle walks along mountain paths, discovering local traditions and pristine nature.
In the afternoon, continue to Shahrisabz. After check-in, visit Yulduz Opa’s textile workshop, where traditional carpets and national garments are handmade.
Morning city tour of Shahrisabz, the birthplace of Amir Temur. Visit the monumental Ak-Saroy Palace, Kok-Gumbaz Mosque, Gumbazi Sayidon, Jahangir Mausoleum, and Hazrati Imam Mosque. In the afternoon, drive to the holy city of Bukhara.
Explore Bukhara’s historic center: Ark Fortress, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Ismail Samani Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub, and the magnificent Poi-Kalyan Complex.
Visit Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassahs, wander through ancient Trade Domes, the old Silk Market, Magokki Attori Mosque, and relax at Labi Hauz Complex.
Continue exploring Bukhara with visits to Chor Minor, Sitorai Mokhi Khosa (summer residence of the last Emir), Chor Bakr Necropolis, and the Naqshbandi Sufi Complex
Drive through the vast Kyzylkum Desert toward Khiva. Stop for photos along the Amu Darya River, once the lifeline of Central Asia.
Arrive in Khiva and transfer to your hotel.
Discover the walled city of Ichan-Kala, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Kunya Ark, Kalta Minor, Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Islam Khoja Minaret, Juma Mosque, Tash-Hovli Palace, and historic madrassahs that reflect Khiva’s golden age.
Drive to the desert fortresses of Ancient Khorezm (150 km, 2.5 Hours). Explore Toprak-Kala and Ayaz-Kala, once thriving cities over 2,000 years ago. Learn about Kushan civilization, ancient irrigation systems, and the dramatic decline of these settlements. Overnight in traditional yurts, surrounded by desert silence.
Drive to Nukus (180 km, 3 Hours) and visit the world-famous Savitsky Museum, home to one of the most important collections of Soviet avant-garde art and Karakalpak ethnography — often called the “Louvre of the Steppe.”
After breakfast, drive to Moynak, once a major fishing port on the Aral Sea. Witness the haunting ship graveyard and learn about one of the world’s greatest environmental disasters.
En route, explore the mystical Mizdakhan Archaeological Complex, including Gyaur-Kala, ancient mausoleums, and Zoroastrian burial sites.
Return to Nukus for an evening flight to Tashkent.
